ParticipantHi,
we have an apartment dishwasher old but it seems very well maintained and looks very good.
We tried it and it works well, so the problem is that we have no manuals and do not know the meanings of what we see.
I have tried to search manuals in internet but nothing at all.
It will be useful to know the exact model but the label is unreadable so we have only the photo picture for that.
I can see only philips whirlpool and a number 684.
I want to know if exist a generic manual for that type of machine or similar to understand how to use it.
Any help will be appreciated, thanks.
Best regards.
Salvatore

all whirlpool models contain letters and numbers there should also be a 12 digit number to help identify model
look around the door and try to find this labelDave

It’s a Philips Whirlpool ADG 684. Almost an antique and many parts obsolete.
Manual here to download.http://pdfretriever.com/ref_sien.php?ID … 27e&src=15

Sadly that manual download bears no resemblance to the controls in the first post. 🙁

Oops. I didn’t view the download
The model looks like a very old Philips/Whirlpool ADG 684/1FW and there do not appear to be any manuals online and I threw out all of my Phillips stuff many years ago.
Sorry.

The infinity loop type thing is just a power light I expect.
e = Eco or Economy.
R = Rapid
1 = Rinse
2 = 65? hot wash for really dirty stuff including pans etc
2e = guess 😉
3e = more intensive than 2e but, largely the same thing
4 = much like 3 only faster so not as good a wash
The lines below offer a hint at how long they all take. The lower the block, the poorer the wash cycle or, the less soiled the dishes need to be to come out clean.
Short of it, use 2 or 2e for most things and you’re done.
Use 1 for when you put stuff in but aren’t going to wash that load for a while as you add more.
