Model No: JLTDC 11, don’t have PNC number but as there are only two covering this model I have downloaded the manual to take with me tomorrow,

First one of these I have encountered, customer complains of no heat, any know problem areas to look out for or will I have to wait until I put it through diagnostics?

Just returned from this call, error code E32 = wiring, worn carbon brush sensor, pcb.

As you would expect with a previously untouched dryer of recent vintage all wiring looks perfect.

Carbon brush ‘appears’ to be making good contact and has a shiny surface but I have no idea just how worn this one is. Looking at one or two pictures online I would say not much????

I am tempted to try a new brush assembly, any comments.

    PNC is 916096487 00 BTW. 😉

I’m not familiar with heat pump dryers at all but I’m just wondering if carbon brush dust may play its part in the problem?

For the cost difference and as it is for a close friend I am going to try a new carbon brush and see what happens. 🙂
