ParticipantWe have a Siemens SN26M253GB/55 Dishwasher in our workshop and have fitted a new main motor as the old one was wrecked by a piece of glass . Unfortunately , when extracting the small wiring plug with three grey wires fitted to it , which was tight to remove , the three wires actually pulled out of their connection in the plug . Whilst we think we have put them back where they belong , it would be great if we could trace them back to their origin to make sure . Can anybody help with a wiring diagram please ?

taking an educated guess at this one
this motor is a 3 phase motor. from my experience working on normal 3 phase machines if you cross the wires on a 3 phase motor it turns in the opposite direction
so if you cannot get the information you need and want to take a chance. run machine and see if motor is turning the correct way. if no you can swop any 2 wires and it will reverse
am making a few assumptions here and cannot be certain it will be correct but if it works the same as normal 3 phase it will

Thanks for you replies , that is what Bob was afraid of doing Martin ! However , by a sheer piece of fluke , we scrapped a newer Bosch dishwasher the afternoon of my post , and it had the same plug configuration to the control board with the same amount and same colour of wires . After tracing the wires to the plug in the motor back to the board , they were in the same positions as he thought they had come from , so considered it a pretty safe bet . BINGO ! the machine is now back in the customers house . Thanks again for your posts !

Was it a heat pump that you replaced? The small plug wroth 3 grey wires on the side is the NTC connector so the worst you’ll get is an e11 error code.
