The supplier should legally repair it or replace it. If that same supplier also delivered and connected it then they should return and remedy the situation. If the purchaser collected the oven themselves from their shop then they should return it the same way for repair or refund.

    Hi Fasetester

That depends on the terms and conditions of sale.

It may well state that it is a return to base warranty and the buyer assumes the cost of returning the cooker. This is not against the sale of goods act as if it was stated in the terms and conditions to which the customer agreed to when purchased then the buyer will be liable to return the appliance to the customer at there cost. This is normally where a graded or refurbished product is sold.
The customer will need to check the terms and conditions of the sale.
