    Hi, I hope someone will be able to help me with my problem. Indesit are useless and won’t provide me with any help over the phone. I have just bought a flat with an Indesit cooker hood which I can only use by climbing on steps to turn the fuse spur on and off which is in a cupboard. When on I am able to use the hood controls to turn the motor on/off and also activate the second and third speed but I cannot switch the lights off. Any Idea what’s causing this?

    Sounds as if the switch or module is faulty but we’d need the model number to look any further.

    The model no. is 51109-H562 IX.

    My suggestion, buy a new hood.

    The switch module assembly in that one is listed at £119!!

    Nope.

    Look at Elica hoods, much better.

    Cheap ones make a noise, light up and little else.
