Hi, I have moved house and have inherited there an Indesit Washer Dryer Model WDN 1079 WG – but no instruction manual. I have managed to get the wash facility to work but can’t work out how to get the dryer feature working – either following a wash or independently. I can’t find a manual online to download. Can anyone help please? Many thanks, Jayne

Hmm, looking at the parts lists that looks like quite an old model, there isn’t even a manual for that on the Indesit web site, also lots of parts are obsolete for that machine.
Can you post up a clear picture of the control panel, we may be able to hazard a wild guess. 🙂
Not sure if the fast/slow spin button has to be in a certain position for dryer to work?????

Oh, thank you 🙂 I’ve attached a pic of the control panel. I have just tried again, setting the drying dial to 90 (minutes I assume) but it just washed everything again!

Sadly that picture is so small it’s impossible to make out any of the buttons. 🙁
I just have it in the back of my mind that one of those push buttons has to be selected but I could be mistaken.
Of to watch Man Utd shortly, hopefully if you can post a clearer, bigger pic then some else may be able to see it before I get back later.

Another thought, is one of those buttons for half/full load. These machines can wash a full load but only wash and dry a half load. If it has one try it with the half load button selected.

I have this machine. If at the end of the wash cycle(if used) you want it to go straight to dryer turn the smaller of the 2 dials to the time you want to dry for. It will auto cut in for you.
If just using the dryer make sure the larger(right hand side)knob is stopped at the bold line (usually on mine next to D at 6 o’clock position) and turn the left/smaller dial to time required. I usually only use the right hand settings..press the power button/far left button on and in a second or two the light under the small dial should illuminate and the dryer start.
