ParticipantRight you lot,
Before I buy a new Control Module I wonder if a any of you have experience in this issue.
I have a Bosch Classixx slim dishwasher but the rating sticker with the serial number on it is no where to be seen I’ve looked all over. But someone who has the same machine (Or so he thinks) gave me his number “SRS45E28GB/01” is that of use?
So I’m having to guess parts, anyway… The detergent dispenser stopped working, so I did the obvious and made sure it wasn’t jammed/stuck or obstructed and then bought a new dispenser, and fitted it.
However! today it stopped working again, so I have taken the front off and checked connections and all seems good. I have run a cycle with the front off and the little solenoid thing doesn’t even try to move. I attempted to use a multi meter to check for current to it, but nothing appears to be there. 😀So, I’m now thinking the control module is faulty.
Anyway, do you lot think it’s the module or have I over looked something? I may just buy a new Dishwasher as this one is like… 5-6 years old I think anyway but if I can fix it for less than £53 (the price of the cheapest Module I found) I will.
what’s your opinions please?
Many thanks 😉

a lot of Bosch dishwashers have a clear label on the top of the door, by the door catch. on the stainless part
to see it you have to view it slightly to the side as it looks invisibleDave

I would just throw an all in 1 tablet in the cutlery basket. You should get a perfectly good wash.
Its best not to have salt or rinse aid in the machine as the tablet has all you need.February 28, 2016 at 10:31 am #435850RustySkull

Do you have any idea on what could be causing the issue?

I’ve found the serial number now it’s SR55C02GB/01 but I can’t seem to find the right Control Module for this…

It is not uncommon for a dispenser solenoid to go faulty and pop the triac on the PCB. (Little black square device looks a bit like a transistor. When faulty they blow up).

Ahh okey! That’s something I haven’t looked at, so can these be replaced and where is it?February 28, 2016 at 5:09 pm #435854Martin

I refer to the PCB on the Control Module. In the trade we replace the complete unit. If you intend buying one from eBay do be certain sure you get the correct unit for the model you have recently discovered. (Buying control units from 3rd party sources is a risky business)…. Just saying.

Well, I have found this one on Qualtex http://www.qualtexuk.com/trade/product/default.aspx?act=s&part=BSH644121
But I’m still not sure it it’s the right one, it looks the same, kinda… I’m not familiar with Dishwashers I usually deal with Vacuum’s and Lawn Mowers haha.February 28, 2016 at 10:07 pm #435856Martin
