Miele premier 520 stuck on main wash

I wonder if you can please offer any advice or solution. I have a milele premier 520 washing machine.

I put on a wash say normal 40 degree cottons. The wash time is 1hr 56mins. The washing machine fills up fine, The light inductor says main wash and it carries out the main wash. Then at 46 minutes remaining it will not progress to the rinse / rinse hold cycle. It will sit on the main wash. You have to then select the finish option which will drain and spin but not rinse. If you then put it on the rinse only cycle which is 16 mins long it works perfectly. The indicator lights says rinse. Then rinse hold. Then drain/spin. Then anti crease/finish. So when on any main wash no matter what program, it’s doing the main wash, omitting the rinse and rinse hold and when selecting finish going straight to the drain/spin. If you don’t select finish it sits on the main wash continually stuck on the 46 mins remains. On a quick wash it gets stuck at 22 mins. So basically whatever time the main has finished and it’s meant to move into the rinse it doesn’t. You have to select separate rinse cycle to rinse. Any ideas?
I’ve been on your website for trouble shooting. Checked the manual. Been on the milele forums and nothing. There are no warning lights either like check inlet/outlet. There are no fault codes in the display. It just won’t move from the main to the rinse unless you actually deliberately select the separate rinse setting. The machine then fills up with water and rinses perfectly and the led lights show its performing the rinse, rinse hold program.
