Zanussi FJ1354S Washing Machine keeps beeping during wash

Hi All,

I have a Zanussi FJ 1354 S washing machine. During the wash cycle the PREWASH and RINSE HOLD lights will start to flash and the washing machine makes a beeping sound. This beeping will carry on indefinitely. To workaround the issue I just press the on/off button to turn it off and then on again when the machine then re-engages to one of the steps in the wash cycle.

It can vary the number of times you need to do this during a wash. Sometimes you can get lucky and it will only be one or two but sometimes it can be going off all the time.

The clothes seem to wash fine – it is just annoying having to switch it off and on again.

I have turned off the acoustic signal. However, this is only relevant to the buttons you press when you are selecting your programme and the end of wash cycle beep.

Any help would be much appreciated.
