Hi, I have a hoover HNF 7147 washing machine that has stopped working.
I think it is the interlock door switch that is the problem.
Before I order a new one I would like to try and bypass it by joining the wires that go to it together.
There are 3 wires :- GREEN WITH SPADE CONNECTOR, WHITE WITH A PLASTIC COVER ON THE SPADE CONNECTOR AND ANOTHER WHITE WITH AN UNCOVERED SPADE CONNECTOR.
The white cable with the uncovered spade connector is live when the programme switch is turned on.
Please can you tell me which wires to join together.
Could you please also tell me the price for a new interlock.
The number on the old one is DAO53 70768065
    Thank You.
    Gary.

Do NOT join the wires together, the microprocessor will object most violently. Not a bodge that will help especially so as new interlocks are cheap whilst programmer modules aren’t. 😉

The door lock is this one:

And, they are known to pop on occasion.
