SMS65E12 GB/46.
Customer says that the code E check water is showing on the display but always as the machine reaches approx 15 minutes from end of cycle.
Usually if it is an impellor jug or red switch problem this happens at the start of the cycle.
Is this still the likely area of concern?

from my point of view you cant rule it out till you have swopped it
although from experience it normally fails on the first fill you cant rule out the fluke factor ie its intermittent and just happens to get through the first fill also on the first fill the unit will be cold

Does this model even have such a device, had a quick look at the parts diagrams and couldn’t immediately identify one, although it was only a quick look. 🙂

That’s what I got but this is a longstanding customer of over 30 years and I am absolutely certain it was only last year I condemned his old machine???
