    Hi,

I put my dishwasher on last night and the ‘check water’ light came on after a minute or two then the dishwasher drained and the cycle stopped. When I tried it again it seems like the machine is filling up but then it stops and drains again and the light comes back on. There’s also some water left over inside the machine that isn’t draining away.

I’ve cleaned the filters, checked the small propeller inside the machine isn’t stuck, checked the water inlet filter isn’t blocked and made sure water is getting to the machine but still nothing. I’ve tried tipping the dishwasher at a 45 degree angle as someone had advised it might be the sump that has filled up with water. Some water did come out of the machine when I done this but it didn’t resolve the problem.

Any advice on how to sort this would be much appreciated!

    Model number – SMS40T32UK/24

    Thanks

Re: Check water light on Bosch dishwasher

there is a contact at the side of the dishwasher that counts the water in

    go to
    http://www.bosch-home.co.uk/store/spareparts/search

put in your Enr and bring up the diagrams

page 4 of the breakdowns item 0405 left hand side

its either this ( most likely) a broken wire to this unit or a faulty in the board
