Would laugh if it wasn’t so stupidly sad….
Today’s Times. Consumer page. Customer with an AEG fridge, took shelf out to clean it, shelf broke, Oh My God, my 400 year old cottage might burn down as its obviously a faulty appliance, send me a new one now please John Lewis.

Thankfully, aside from John Lewis supplying a set of new shelves, the customer has been told where to go.
Just shows the hysteria around us though.

not sure of the relevance there Dave but think I get your point.
In this case, the “industry” didn’t help by sending out an engineer to check the “electric current and earth” thus giving the customer the impression their could be a fault…
I know what I would have told them had I been allowed to answer their call…. :clown:
