I have a General Electric fridge freezer – model GCU23MITAFBB. It has a front water/ice dispenser. The ice dispenser continues to work normally but no water flows from the water dispenser. There is no water filter on this model. Any suggestions ?

Almost certainly the water valve solenoid has failed or is blocked for the water and, it’s not a cheap thing…

    Hi

More likely that the water pipe in the door assembly has frozen. Turn the appliance off with the freezer door left open for 24 hours then try again. It’s a common problem with the GE fridge freezers.

Also check the connector block at the bottom of the freezer door behind the vent trim. this is normally also corroded. Butt connect the cables outwit the connection block.

It’s all about dealing with water pipe. You should double check things around it.
