Hi, Joe here. I’m new here. I have a wiring related issue. My Dishwasher is overflowing. Since it has a Flow Meter (inbuilt the plastic water assembly) everyone advised me it could be a flow meter fault. I checked the flow meter reed switch and it seems to be working fine. However the wire that connects to the flow meter seems to be connected to the Neutral wire of the mains. Is this normal? Can someone point me to how the Flow Meter part is wired? I was under the impression that the flow meter is a DC device. But then why is it connected to the neutral? Or do I have to check for a short in the wiring?

    Please advice

    Joe 🙂
