    Scratching my head on this one, it leaves water in machine at end of cycle, but never when I test it./ also not cleaning well.
    Checked outlet pipe on sink , which was pointing down.
    No blockages, pump appears ok – the impeller has no resistance though, could this be problem. ? It pumps fine if you do it manually, by the reset button.
    Replace pump ?

    Yes, replace the drain pump.

    Note to Martin;
    replaced pump , still the same.
    Spent alot of time on this , Ah well cant win ’em all!
    Shes going back to Siemens after my advice to do so.
