Went to this job and decided to take it back to my workshop. The front seal had dislocated from the plastic housing that the drum front fits into and seized the drum. The machine was completely stuffed full of lint. I stripped the machine and cleaned it and reassembled with a new front seal. I noted that there is an assembly that looks similar to a refrigerator condenser this was completely blocked with lint which I cleaned. Is this the heat pump? Anyway the machine fails to heat now. Any body know how this machines works as there appears to be no heating element?

I assume exactly like the air-con in your car when you use it demist the screen. hit the clothes with dry air and the water will evaporate. by not heating the clothes or by only heating a bit it will be more energy efficient
