    I’ve got a SMEG washer – there’s no water coming to the top basket. Is there anythng I can do other than wait for an engineer next week?

    I’ve checked for blockage in the top spray arm and all is clear.

    Without a model number that’s hard to answer in some ways. But essentially no, there’s not much else you can do.

    Some have a diverter unit which could be stuck caussing your fault but as
    kwatt said, without a model number is difficult to help
