    Hi,
A relative of mine was recently advised her Hotpoint tumble drier was a potential fire hazard ( much publicised at the time ) and was offered a repair or a replacement drier for £99. Due to the long repair date, she accepted the replacement. It arrived and on using it a few times, she declared that it didn’t work – ie clothes still wet after a pre- programmed drying time determined by ‘ sensors ‘. I’ve checked she is using it correctly and sure enough, the drying times seem far too short.
I’ve done a t’internet search and the model doesn’t appear to exist – the only mention of it is by another disgruntled owner who list exactly the same issues. The model is TDWSF 83 EPZ.
Has anyone in the trade / professional world heard of this replacement model or its problems ? The angry internet person tried the Hotpoint unhelpful line to no avail and is still waiting for a call back. Thanks in advance.

Moved, for some reason you posted in the Dishwasher forum. 🙂

All these new dryers are Whirlpool based dryers as far as we know but it’s unlikely anyone in the trade will have had any direct experience with them as yet.
