Oven/hob tripping electric

Hi all,

I think my hob is tripping the electrics. If we turn the switch back on for the oven and then turn the oven switch back on at the wall there’s a popping sound from the hob.

Any ideas, it’s an old build in Neff and I really want to avoid having to buy a new oven. I recently had to have my gas box removed and put back due to some building work and it’s not worked since then. Could it be something to do with the earth from that?
