    Can anyone suggest a free standing dishwasher I can recommend to a good customer of mine? I normally go for Bosch but some of their models are not so good anymore. Budget of £400-£500.

    Miele without a doubt. On build quality and performance, they are head and shoulders above everything else. They are the only manufacturer that I am aware of that publishes the design life of its laundry and dishwashing appliances (10,000 hours, ie 20 years at 10 hours a week). The only downside is that you might find they may require your services less often…and spares tend to be pricey.
