Neff B1564NOGB/10. single fan oven.
Lovely electronic control oven here – fault reported not getting up to temperature; display stays at 160 degrees. Called and tested; it all worked on visit and the temperatures all seemed OK (cavity temperature tallied with the display as per normal). Looked at the PCB and found some dry looking joints around the relays so redid them. Oven worked fine with perfect results for three weeks. Now the 160 degree fault is back…… so I am thinking the PCB module behind the control panel (447139) is faulty. It’s expensive so I need to be sure it’ll cure the fault.
Any help appreciated on this please.

Is the display resetting to 160*c after the temp has been set higher? It sounds like the temp is resetting to its default setting during use. Try setting the fan oven temperature to 180*c and playing around with the selector switch to see if you can recreate the fault. This might give you an idea If that’s what is actually occuring.
