ParticipantHi guys,
over the last few years work seems to have took a dip, i used to have a full diary for the week ahead but now its rather disappointing, i do have busy times but then it seems to just drop off.
we have a good internet site and listed on google local, we come up close to top in natural listings.
google adwords return was poor, dropped.
our online reviews are good.considering a few options and looking for any suggestions or other ideas.
what about yellow pages?
any other sites give a reasonable return?
has anyone had any success with trying to contact landlords and the best way to approach them?id be happy to get back into reconditioning but competition seems high without a good steady supply of raw machine out their? were in manchester if anyone knows of anyone especially hotpoint or hoover new and old machines?
any help here would be appreciated

I do a lot of pat testing which seems to fill the gap left by dwindling repairs

I started doing it about 7 years ago when one of the estate agents asked if I did it, so I went on the course quite boring but guaranteed income

Hi
Yes.. Get the full skill set including gas safe and refrigeration. Be prepared to go outside your comfort work area.

Thanks Bryan, yes I’ve took your advice and took the plunge back in, I stopped dishwashers mainly built in but if restarted this and took some refrigeration repairs but I have little systems training so sticking to what’s possible but I’m considering looking at private courses for that, and Im not sure about gas safe for gas cookers only due to the investment in time and money, boiler breakdowns interest me but maybe the grass is greener?
