April is the worst month historically for us ,never can get used to it ,the time of year I pick up the to see if it’s still working 😀

This week has been particularly quiet. Thanks god for the estate agents work. I’ve been mad busy up until this week. One of the best starts to a year that I can remember. Lets hope after the bank holiday weekend it gets back to normal and it was just a blip.

When I read the title quickly I thought it read “do you have a dead parrot?”
I really must follow Michael Palin’s example and revisit Specsavers once more. 😉

thing i find annoying is the hanging around hoping some work will come in then wasting a day because little does.if you knew in advance you could go away etc.

The joys of being self employed and in a trade with a small profit per job & a high number of jobs per day required plus a quick response time.
Not great really is it…May 5, 2016 at 12:02 pm #437176Cras

And the moment you go away the phone doesn’t stop ringing

not much coming in at all. just hope that I can on in for the next few years until retirement, but with the price of new so low and the modern idea of “just chuck it” I do worry.

I thought it was just me. Between January and Easter approx 41 jobs a week. Between Easter and This week only 33 on average. That’s a big shock to the system for us. As a rule 8 jobs a day is the norm and all this week 6 a day. The 4 day weeks seem to have really been quiet this year. Onwards and upwards hopefully things pick up and go back to normal!
