ParticipantHello
New to the forum, so hello all.
Did a search on OIF22300 nothing relevant to the problem with mine which is this:The cooling fan runs continuously after the time has been set after power up.
I changed the cooling fan thermostat as it’s a fairly cheap part but the old one and the new one are both open circuit when the oven is cold – so that’s not the issue. Is there a wiring schematic available? It looks like the fan is fed by the timer module so the fan could be on even if the thermostat has not closed. Faulty timer module?
Thanks in advance for any advice.

There’s three versions of it, X, XR and XL.
Can you tell us which on or the product code?

I think they’re all the same pretty much other than colour and some other bits and bobs and, if there’s just the stat controlling it the only thing I can see that could be an issue os the changeover switch or function switch.
If the terminals are shorted together that may well be the problem and why replacing the stat would have zero effect.
The switch is behind the facia, left side and is this one:

Thanks for the reply.
It’s an OIF22300 X model.
Is there a schematic available?
I’d like to understand how the cooling fan is connected up so as to diagnose the
problem without trying replacement parts one-by-one.It seems there must be a path that can power the cooling fan irrespective of the state of the thermostat (which seems illogical unless I’m missing something).
thanks

It’s a very simple oven so it’s not that hard and if you read the forum rules you’ll understand why we can’t publish wiring schematics.
Normally on those switches you’ll physically see the problem, burnt terminals often welded together will be the problem.
And, there’s only that, a stat or two and a fan motor, not much to go wrong or check.

263900055 is the part you should possibly be replacing, its the selector switch, possibly short circuit on one of the wafers of switch.
