Hotpoint WMD740 memory.

As I pushed this machine back in I accidentally pressed the “Memory” button. Now when you switch the machine on, it comes up with Pump 002 every time. I tried everything to cancel or change the memory stored, but to no avail. You can press another cycle and it works fine – customer not bothered but I am. I also tried to ‘store’ a different program (press and hold memory on the chosen program) but that didn’t work either. Found a PDF of the instruction book online but that shows how to store a memory but not how to delete or change it.
Surely you don’t just get one go at it? Any help with this that doesn’t involve brandishing a large meat cleaver? :angry4:
