    Hi,
Our Kenwood Dishwasher model number KDW8ST2A serial number 938 S/N 012038, stopped towards the end of a cycle today. There were no lights on and no ominous sounds made from it.

I’ve checked the mains fuse and its fine. I’ve opened up the front door and have checked for continuity between the wall socket and the main power switch which is fine. I’ve also checked for continuity through the door switch again fine. Finally, having found the wiring diagram on the web I’ve been able to check the thermistor resistance which return 11k ohms so I think that’s ok.

This has left me to conclude that the fault is probably in the control board. I can’t see any replacements on the UK White Good Shop but did find one here http://www.buyspares.co.uk/search.pl?t= … bs&x=0&y=0

As with postage its going to cost circa £85 I was interested if anybody else has any other suggestions for checks I should do to eliminate other issues before I shell out for this.

Having just replaced the cooker element in the Kenwood oven and now having dishwasher problems, both of these appliances were in the house when we moved in 5 years ago, I am also contemplating bailing out on this dishwasher and buying something higher quality.
