    Hi
    I am replacing my cooker switch plate to a metal one by Lap and it has been suggested I need 32amp but I can only find the following
    45 Amp DP Switch Sq c/w Neon – Black Nickel.
    Will it be ok to purchase this.

    as long as the rated current is higher its ok

    so to answer your question yes its ok
