    Good morning all,
    I believe this machine is of Smeg descent, while investigating a recurring problem with the dryer stat cutting out i noticed that it does a full 1200/1400 spin during the drying cycle 😯 Is this normal? i haven’t come across it before and wondered if that was having an effect on the stat cutting out as its not overheating 😕

    Certain Hotpoint machines have used a ‘thermal spin’ cycle for years. 😉

    Have you cleaned the condenser as well as the fan blades

    I’ve checked the condenser but not the fan blades, will check and report!
