    Hoping someone can help me.

We have a rental apartment in Spain, but this advice would be relevant anywhere Suspect. The oven timer switch has broken, which means that the oven just won’t work anymore whichever way you turn it. TBH guests are pretty heavy handed sometimes and quite a few electrical things have been damaged.

We have decided to replace the oven, but the hob is working perfectly but the controls for the hob are on the front of the oven!

So my question is, do we have to buy the same make again for it to be compatible? It is a TEKA brand and I would prefer to buy a Zanussi, but I suspect that it may not be compatible with a TEKA hob (not induction).

    Thanks

then you have a problem no other oven will fit and unless you buy 2 new units it wont work

if its just the clock thats broken is can be shorted electrically so it no longer works but the oven will

    Hi

No need to replace the oven as it’s probably only going to need the clock / timer bypassed which is a 10 minute job.
