THE CUTOMER IS HAND WASHING CASHMERE CARDIGANS by hand.
and then putting them the washer to spin and rince the appliance is picking up unbalanced load and the cloths a coming out soaking wet.
its a pain in the neck.what do you think would be best wash program for a cashmere cardigan .

Hi garn
I’d use the delicate cycle which will be the best wash and spin at 600 in order not to damage the fabric. There are some who would wash cashmere in a net bag.
To stop the out of balance kicking in add a couple of pillowcases or something similar.

I have several cashmere jumpers and I can tell you it is a definite no no to machine wash OR spin. Hand wash only and lay out flat to dry.
Suffer on otherwise.

I didn’t mention before as I assumed that garn had checked the wash label to see if it should be hand, machine washed or indeed dry cleaned.
I also forgot to mention to turn it inside out for added protection.

Small bath mat? put a hand towel or two in with it.

Ditto to that thought. 😉
Also get your customer to read pages 15 and 24 of the user booklet. It lends a little support to what we all know in the trade about OOB and how to overcome…..

We sell loads of Bosch and I have to say that we have not had this issue at all. Could be our customers don’t wash that type of mat in the washing machine though.
I’d rather have it over sensitive and have the machine last longer than the other way around.
