Received an email from said company today offering a job 1 hour and 40 mins away to be completed by 12 noon tomorrow on a Samsung side by side for a fixed price of £60.00!!!…………..I declined 😕

Yeah just had a call on email to to look at an intergrated dishwasher 20 miles away so l am going to decline… They are offering £85.00 fixed price sounds to good to be true

I just had the same an e-mail today and declined.
A dishwasher repair £85 does not include parts next day Saturday at 12 .30pm.
Another chancer trying to steal work for sitting at home on a computer.

I just rechecked the e-mail and it said fixed price does not include parts.
Perhaps they are making it up as they go along and then you may have problems with payments.

It’s just someone trying to grab the work and make money from work that would have went to the local repairer anyway.
Why do work for someone when the work would most likely come to you.
It’s just lining someone else’s pocket, who has to do little work for the money.
You also do not have any guarantee you will get paid unless payment is paid upfront.

Just had one, would I please go and repair a built in dishwasher 30 miles away from me for a fixed price of £65 (not inc parts). Absolute bargain!
Except they’ve gone and specified a specific date and time (30th June at 2pm), which just happens to coincide with when I’m getting my nails done.Anybody fancy the job?

It would be interesting to hear from someone who has taken work from them, how do you get paid, what’s their share.

Been contacted a few times by them, normally for “2pm Wednesday” type fixed time jobs way out of our area.
From our short discussion with them, the “fixed price” is labour only. I told them the term fixed price was used for a total cost and would likely end with others refusing the work, they obviously didn’t take that onboard.
They wanted us to use their app to log when we arrived and left, with any payments for parts etc to be taken through their app as well. We told them we were not using their app and they agreed to do it by invoice. Job ended up being cancelled by the customer though so never actually carried out any work for them.
