    Hi all,

Could someone please help with this problem. Have a Siemens IQ300 WM14Q390GB which had an E43 error. Carbons replaced, and error cleared (Although it did show E63 before turning off after reset?) When cycle is started the machine fills, but the drum only sporadically moves and doesn’t spin. I’ve got a feeling it’s the control board, does anyone have experience of this? Thank you.

    John.

    maybe

since the machines drum changes direction you could have a blown track for the spin direction but machine will still turn the other way

Thanks Dave it doesn’t full turn either way, it probably turns about a 1/4.

    just thinking outside the box

wondering if unit starts to move motor and fails if it does not get impulses. may give you a different fault but cant be sure

have no access to Siemens error codes so have learned to try everything and check everything
one person on here seems to have Bosch tech access and maybe Siemens is Nomad

Makes sense Dave…thank you. Perhaps Nomad will read this and chip in. Cheers for your help.

Hi again, the error code that briefly flashed up after reset was E26 not E63.

Just to help anyone who may look this up in the future, it was a tacho problem…a refurbed motor cured it.
