hi all while looking for parts for an industrial microwave on the internet i found this website about microwaves and how they could possibly lead to cancer. makes very intresting reading.
they do say nowadays 1 in every 3 will get cancer.
i do know a load of friends + family who have died of cancer.
    please read the website.

I didn’t know whether to laugh or cry at that publication, so I compromised with a huff and grin instead. 😕

I’ve been living on food and drink out of my microwave now since 1985 so based on that load of spiel my time is up 🙁

quote wrote:Heating or thawing human milk by microwave causes a decrease in the level of anti-infective factors in the milk

Heating human milk ❓ …..never used that method, normally comes out warm enough at source from my recollection :rotfl:

Anybody wanna buy a microwave?…one careful owner!…shall we start the bidding at 10 quid?….come on!

So, in the days before the wicked microwave came along, did people catch cancer from the microwaves emitted by a passing alien ship?

It’s all in the way people interpret the info – years ago I worked for a consumer polythene firm, who also wound off clingfilm into consumer packs. In 1986, the papers ran a big scare about clingfilm and microwaves; the “cling” additive could cause cancer. It transpired that if you fed a rat 80 times its own body weight of the concentrate additive, it had a 10{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} chance of developing a cancer. Given that the “cling” additive was less than 0.5{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} by weight of the film involved the whole thing was utterly ridiculous, yet it ran for weeks and affected the companys business.

The press – don’t you just love them……
