Hello, lovely job! Induction hob inset into a granite worktop and siliconed in. Dead as a Dodo. Power going to hob but nothing coming off the power pcb. Normally they have fuses but the holders are empty and they show continuity across the holders. Does anybody repair the PCB, I can do the washing machines as I have seen a lot of them and know what fails but I don’t fancy cracking open these!

cracking it open wont hurt. first make sure its well out of warranty. if its only just it might be worth customer contacting miele and complaining.
if no the only poss fault you can cure is a power supply problem. i suspect the boards are similar to televisions with a small standby power supply poss fed with a switch mode chip. these can fail and its worth checking.
if no its a new board from Miele and will be an interesting price

Yes, I’ve checked out the board and there is nothing obvious, new board is close to £800! I’ve been told via a boating forum of a man who can repair circuit boards but his name is not being given.
Oh forgot to say Miele no longer make one this size!
