    Hello..

For a while now, our FDW60 has been making the odd click/tap/hammering noise for a couple of minutes while washing.

While doing this, the Wash LED would flicker on and off – not flash – at different speeds.
The sound was a little like the dishwasher tablet flap rattling open and closed.

    EG:

It continued on its merry way and the dishes were washed.

Now, however, it’s a lot louder and the dishes aren’t cleaning anywhere near as well. Often the tablet is left sitting there almost solid.

    Any suggestions welcomed.

Sounds like the relay is acting up.

I suggest you take the board out and see what is going on in there. It would help if you could pinpoint at which point in the cycle this happens. Undissolved detergent could indicate a heating issue, so i’d have a look around the heater relay for starters.

Sounds like a piece of glass is rattling around in the circulating motor or in the drain pump. Most likely the circ motor by the way your describing it.
