Hi , my fridge freezer shuts off after a few seconds with an error code of “rd” I think this has something to do with the motorised flap sensor ? The flap does turn for a few seconds after start up but stops and the fridge / freezer stops and “rd” is shown on the display ” the sensor is not frozen , if it is the sensor where would I find the parts number and where could I access one ? Many thanks for any replies

Hi
I would assume that you have a Samsung srl36 or Srl39 and with this error you will need to replace the evaporator cover. I have seen people try to repair sensors ect but in the long run it doesn’t work. I may have one left in the warehouse.
