    Hi guys,

    So I’ve had this BEKO WMB81241LW for about 4 years now, been a solid performer…until this morning.

    It is refusing to spin.

    Switched it to test/diag mode and everything working as expected except..you guessed it…spin.

    This is for all programs (including during the diagnostics)
    Yet there is no error code displayed on the screen.

    I’m thinking brushes as a place to start with replacing but wanted to see if anyone else had any other advice to offer please? 🙂

    machine wont spin for various reasons

    1 out of balance load
    2 water not draining quick enough or bad foaming

    then check you brushes for length or jamming

    Well…decided to strip the machine down to get the motor out.
    Removed the brushes…ah!

    One was about 0mm long and the other about 25mm left…so I might have just found the problem lol 😀

    New brushes ordered, arrive tomorrow and my wife’s sanity can return 🙂
