Any info much appreciated Neil July 1, 2016 at 12:00 pm #438982 electrofixModerator Re: Smeg Dryer Just Hums : Dry72BK could not find this model on the serevast site but a similar model no shows cap attached to motor same as white knight dryers Dave July 1, 2016 at 12:03 pm #438983 neilsukwgParticipant Re: Smeg Dryer Just Hums : Dry72BK Thanks for looking Dave but can confirm no cap attached to the motor just a 2 wire plug running down from behind the front volute assembly up to the pcb N July 1, 2016 at 12:08 pm #438984 electrofixModerator Re: Smeg Dryer Just Hums : Dry72BK thats interesting on a standard reversing motor with a cap you need 3 wires wonder how they have wired this one Dave July 1, 2016 at 12:13 pm #438985 kwattKeymaster Re: Smeg Dryer Just Hums : Dry72BK There’s not a lot in it. Board, motor, pump, door microswitch. If there is a cap on the motor it’s not shown as a separate item so no info on it. K.
