As the result of a recent house move, I have acquired a Leisure Cuisine Master 100 electric range cooker (model RCM10CRK). First thing I noticed was that the timer display was blank. The fan oven, the grill, all 5 hobs and the warming plate appear to work fine, but the conventional oven doesn’t. When I turned this on, there was a “fizzle” and then smoke from behind the oven.

Having removed the back panel, I found a completely burnt out and unrecognisable component attached to a brown wire (in-line) with right angle spade connectors.

The manufacturer (now Beko) has advised that this is (was) a thermal fuse and have provided me with details of the replacement part.

However, the replacement (4410101001) is circular and mounts on a metal bracket. The original part doesn’t look like it was ever attached to anything so I am not sure if/where the replacement part should be mounted – can anyone advise please?

Thanks Dave, I haven’t spotted anything like this, but will take another look.
