I’ve been to look at this machine today and found that when it goes into spin it’s fine, but when slowing down, whether on slow or fast spin, it sounds like the bearings have fallen apart!
I don’t see many LG machines and wonder if someone can enlighten me as to the likely fault. It sounds like the rotor is catching but I haven’t delved in yet.

Hi. I do a few lgs but have not come across this problem. Some lgs are hard to test the bearing as the motor stops itself turning when you try and spin the drum. Main noise i get from them is the side with just one leg banging. As it slows.

Check the centre of the rotor ,the spline can sometimes strip

Thanks for your ideas. I think the spline stripping is most likely, but I don’t have to look now as customer has ordered a new machine!
