    Hi all,
Been to this machine today, customer complained of no heat.
Had a look at the pcb, no obvious damage. Checked the heater and all fine so ran the machine with the side panel removed to see if I had power to the heater. I put it on the quick wash cycle and within no time I had power to the heater and the machine was heating. I have just had a text from the customer saying that they have tried the machine again since and they are not getting heat on any cycle. I am guessing this is going to be a pcb fault but just wanted to check I wasn’t missing anything as the pcb for this machine is an expensive one. Connect list it £124.90+vat.
    Thanks,
    Ray

I presume you have checked that the diverter valve in the heater box works as normal? That it fills with the correct amount of water and that the circl pump has plenty of pressure? If all check out then yes the PCB could well be the problem, or rather the heater relay is sticking. Might be a good idea to run a soldering iron on the 4 relay pins just in case of a dry joint.

Yes that PCB retails at over £160 so I would be surprised if your customer would stump up the money for that to be replaced TBH.

    Thanks Martin,

Yes everything else works fine on the machine. I did have a look at the pcb but couldn’t see any dry joints but will do as you say and see if it makes any difference.
    Thanks,
    Ray
