Hello my first post on here. We have a Beko DCU6130W condenser sensor dryer which has stopped heating. I’ve fixed a few in my time and it’s normally just the thermostat or elements that have gone but this time using an electricians screwdriver I have noticed power to all aspects of the heater elements and thermostats yet it’s not getting hot. I’ve read it could be the PCB which is about £70 does anyone have any advice as it would be much appreciated.

do not rely on neon srewdrivers they are a good guide that’s all. element needs a live and a neutral to work so if you get all lives it wont

common fault on these is the thermistor on the heater fails and it stop heating. I have a hotpoint heater one in my pocket for test purposes but the actual one is only available with the heater.

to test it you need to measure its resistance to see if it to low. just measure a hopoint one and I am getting 14000 ohms at current room temp
