Indesit DE43 error

    Hi,

    I woke up this morning to find my Indesit DE43 dishwasher flashing A04, I then proceeded to phone hotpoint to see if I could find out what the error was. But all they said was you need an engineer. But the women said I think its a thermostat problem. So I am not sure if thats even correct.

    If some one has a list of error codes could you please post them here.

    It indicates a ‘Temperature Sensor Fault’ which may simply means you machine is not heating (i.e new heating element required?).

    Does it just continue washing but not getting hot then?

    not sure at this point the machine did appear to conintue to wash. Will test it again and see what happens. It does appear that these machine are prone to going wrong.
