    Hi

    My Hotppoint DC27 didn’t lock shut so I reset the catch in the door as the spring had tripped by removing the control panal front. Now the dishwasher won’t start any wash cycle and the pre wash light just stays on.

    I guess the washer thinks the door is still open how do I fix this?

    Probably the door locking mechanism (Part No: C00085357) needs replacing and/or the microswitch is not located within that mechanism correctly 😉

    Just taken a look and the microswitch looks ok so I guess I will need a locking mech. Do you know where I can get one from quickly?
