Hi,wonder if anyone can help me,as i’m not familiar with the workings of
white goods in general.
My fridge freezer had been making a sighing type sound for a while,then switched
itself off completely.I checked the fuse in the plug,then switched it back on,nothing.
After leaving it,till the next day,i switched it on,and it started running.After about
an hour,it started making the deep breath sighing sound again,then stopped.It
won’t start again immediately,but if i leave it till the next day,it does exactly the same.
It’s only just over 2 years old,so i was wondering if it worth repairing/how/if i can
repair it,or should i just bite the bullet,and buy a new,better make,fridge freezer?

I cannot be 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} sure but it does sound like the compressor is overheating and cutting out.
Not cheap and you can’t DIY that one.

Thanks mate,i’ve decided to get rid,and get a make with a good reputation,as i’ve
had nothing but bother with ‘cheap and cheerful’ Beko.Two fridge freezers,that have
lasted less than four years combined,at a cost of nearly seven hundred quid.
The simple truth,used to be,’You get what you pay for’.Now,i believe,you don’t even
