I’ve just repaired a Hotpoint washer the leads broken off the ntc managed to refit them but it would have been easier to have fitted a new plug. These plugs seem standard to most makes but I cant find them listed on any web site although that might just be me as there seems to be thousands of plug types listed. don’t need them that often but it would be nice to know if they were available as harness sections are stupid prices.

You could compromise the resistance readings of the NTC if you stitched on a new plug (with Amp tags for example). So a solder and seal with heatshrink insulation the only option if you were to tack on a new plug and lead.
The latter option possible if you were to rob a plug from a machine rendered BER. 💡

the plugs used are IDT type so its fiddly to remove and refix the wires with the danger of breaking the plug in the process. you only get one shot at reuse but a few spare plugs would make a simple and cheap repair.
