Hi, I have had a couple of calls from my customers complaining about getting cold calls from a company called Applianceserve claiming Hotpoint had asked them to contact them. one customer had caller id and the number came up 08004118899.

they asked for bank details to do the recall on hotpoint dryers although neither customer had hotpoint appliances.

    anyone else heard of this.

Another setup with a “virtual” office, turnover £2.7m in year to 31 March 2016, up from £400k in previous (first) year.

It’s run by a sole director called Gregory Keartland – I wonder if it’s the young guy named Greg Keartland on Facebook, apparently enjoying a lavish lifestyle abroad.

They made it to national news in March:

looking at the company accounts submitted. It doesn’t look as a bad company but looking at the net worth it’s only got £46,000 working capital. Most of the money is paid back out in turn over. 2.7 profit before tax 55K
