Zanussi DX6452 is not heating anymore but runs through the programs OK. I’m fully prepared to change parts over but am unable to get find a service manual online anywhere.

I see I can get a Heating element -> http://www.espares.co.uk/product/es5445 … lId=553010 and also a Sensor -> http://www.espares.co.uk/product/es5677 … lId=553010 but wish to know how I diagnose what the issue is before having to purchase any spare parts.

    Any help appreciated.

    Re: Zanussi DX6452 not heating

Common on this model for a dry or burnt solder connection on the heater relay located on the main pcb

Isolate dishwasher from the mains supply!!

    -remove door skin
    -remove front panel
-remove star head screw from main pcb
-clip out pcb from front panel
-at this point take a photo of wire locations
    -removed all wires from pcb
    -remove pcb from plastic housing
-look closely at the soldered connections on rear of board
-if there is a bad solder simply re-solder it

Check this first b4 ordering an element.

    Gerry,
I did what you suggested and it worked !!! – that’s easily saved me £ 100 and a lot of time taking the dishwasher apart – many thanks
