Kevin Wheeler? Kevin Wheeler ? What is it you would want to know, does he owe you money, run off with your best friend? You can share it all here you know, I shan’t tell. 😉

    Re: Electrolux

Kevin Wheeler was the National Service Manager for Service Force, the Electrolux service division. Took over from Steve Clarke who is now at Beko via BSH.

Kevin has now moved to the Commercial Division of Electrolux, however I cannot update upon his replacement (out of the loop).

Thing is though, what is the query? Seems a bit of a non-question to me!

    Re: Electrolux

The query is and question is was he an idiot and its his way or no way and hes also a man thats says he will do so many things but never does. Yes hes on the professional side now thats why i am asking what he was like and how i have came across him, he has caused and is causing so much bother there and unfortunately he does not have a clue about that side of the business. As his title is Head of Customer Service he really does not know how to give good service, alot of people who have had dealings with him on domestic side are shocked and horrified that he got the job, he does not know what customer service is.

Good people that know there job are leaving, the people he brings in are incapable of doing there job just like him unfortunately. The guy before him was very good, new his job, had good ideas and would meet you to see how things were and ask for any suggestions and was very much hands on. He always made sure the service partners were paid every 2 weeks but since this one has came in you have to argue and chase up payments all the time and even threaten to go to the small claims court or just send the customer the bill and advise them to contact him or the head of finance, she is another joke unfortunately, as to why they have not paid the service partner for work done.

There is more but i wont bore you with it and hopefully this will answer your question to why i was asking for comments about him.

    Re: Electrolux

It is very sad, this department ran fine under the last guy, there was good staff, new what they were doing but since this one came in all hes interested in is figures, alot of the good experienced staff have left and as one said to me hes bringing in his cronies that also have no idea. Other staff hes brought in just do not have a clue. I was told his favorite saying is WHATS IN IT FOR ME, i would have thought it should be more like whats in it for the company as there pro stuff is good.

Have had several jobs where it can be a round trip of 2 – 3 hundred miles plus the travel time only to be told when you get to site jobs been cancelled as machine is working ok now and its been an operating error by staff. Asimple phone call to say that is all it takes but the staff he has now cant, wont or just dont bother to tell you, this has all just happened since beginning of the year.

Am puzzled to as to why companies fail at this to

    Re: Electrolux

sounds very frustrating for you just now i know the commercial guys do a lot of travel

the sad thing about this is there doesn’t seem to be anyone above these monkeys who can see what there doing

he will undoubtedly move higher will glowing recommendations re how he transformed the service network

they all operate like this just as long as they have the manipulated KPIs to prove there point .

i would look for something else to do if i was you if you can

    Re: Electrolux

All you have said is very true Ally, theres others things happening to that i cant really say about on here, someone told me all hes there for is a pension top up as he only has a few years to go but the damage he has already done and will do is going to do them real harm. I think i need to get advise from Jackal or someone regarding non payment issues i have with them.
